Go to school naked except for a trench coat

So.. I didn't go to school naked under a trench coat.. but I did graduate naked under my graduation gown and I think that just takes the cake. It's probably my proudest moment at college.

Yup, naked. Also.. I miss Kito every day of my life still.

Serenade at least 5 people with an instrument and a song

Halloween 2009 I dressed as Phoebe from Friends and played my ukelele that night. I serenaded at least 5 people that night with the theme song from Friends.

Stop Cursing for One Month

Today is officially the first day of my month of not cursing. I was truly tested this morning while blow-drying my hair when our apartment fly, Manson, kept buzzing around my face. Otherwise it's been 2 hrs and I'm going strong..

Sponsor a Child for at Least One Year

I have just sent my first payment to sponsor a child in Ethiopia for at least one year. His name is Kalid. Here is some info about him:

"Kalid lives with his parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. His parents struggle to provide for the family. His father is a farmer and his mother is a housewife. Despite their efforts, it is difficult to meet the family's needs.

Kalid and his family live in a community severely affected by the HIV and AIDS crisis. In some communities, AIDS affects the entire social structure as a generation of hardworking adults is being wiped out. Frightened children and exhausted grandparents rarely have money for food, school, or medical care.

Kalid is not in school at this time. He likes to jump rope. He helps at home by babysitting. He is in satisfactory health. "

This makes me want to sponsor more. I wish I could afford to sponsor them all..

Ride Between Subway Cars for One Full Stop

On my way to Brooklyn I was thinking about my roommates have both accomplished one thing on their list and I hadn't. I was just staring, thinking about this when it hit me... I should ride between the two subway cars. So Alex and I went between the two cars. It was above ground, which I think made it weirder cause I could see how fast we were going, and see the ground go flying by. It wasn't too bumpy, but still somewhat exhilarating. When we came back into the car, some crazy Jewish man pointed to Alex and slapped himself... implying Alex should be slapped for letting me ride between the cars..? Almost as weird as the guy who kept opening the door to scratch the palm of his hand on the rubber edge of the door. Weirdos.

One down.

Attractive face huh?

The List

For our senior year of college, my two roommates and I started what we're calling our "Senior Year Bucket List." Basically, we're asking each other and our friends to write down things we should do before we graduate college this May. Since we got to school in NYC, some things on our list are things we think we should do in NY before we're not college students anymore. The catch: if we don't accomplish everything on our list by graduation, we have to be naked underneath our graduation robes.

Below is the list, and as more people add I will update this first post...

1. Serenade at least 5 people with an instrument and a song
2. Watch a movie with the volume on an odd number (I have OCD about that..)
